1878 ($975/2,500) has a larger population of full red examples than all of the above, partly due to a roll of 50 gem mint state coins dispersed into the market in the late 1980s. 1864 no L ($450/950) is the most plentiful of this era due to a large mintage combined with its first year type status, making it saved in quantity.
