Mint State 68 (MS68)
Almost perfect in all respects, with so few examples graded there are almost no models for comparison. PCGS currently has 3 listed on their population report (1861 and 2 1899s) as does NGC (1896, 1899, and 1902). Rick Snow believes only one PCGS 1899 68RD actually exists, making the two imaged below the only examples.

Mint State 69 (MS69)
Neither service has ever graded an Indian cent MS69. PCGS did grade a 1909 PR69 but after a fingerprint developed the owner was reimbursed its estimated value. This coin is now part of the PCGS grading reference set, with the words "The $50,000 Fingerprint" printed on its holder.
