Mint State 65 (MS65)
Very clean to the naked eye -- if spots or nics exist they're not eye grabbing -- and with strong appeal. The finest from an above average group of mint state coins. The strike should be very good, some with excellent strikes but downgraded due to other minor problems.
Hand picked examples can be very beautiful at this level. The best are nearly as nice as superb gems with thick mint frost and satiny lustre, downgraded for minor contact marks, fly specs or minor strike weakness. The worst have dark or inconsistent toning, are obviously spotted, or have weak design detail for the grade.
